System requirements
- Operating system: GNU/Linux (at least kernel 2.4)
- At least 16 MB of virtual memory
- 2 MB of disk space
Installations from source require additionally:
- 4 MB more (6 MB total) of disk space (varies between systems)
- GNU Compiler Collection, version 3.1 or later
- The following libraries, including what they require:
Support for other operating systems
The program is not supported on other systems. However, if you are a programmer and are interested in porting Ibid's Editor to your system, please join the mailing list and discuss your plan there.
Ports to other Unix platforms should be fairly straightforward.
Ports to Microsoft Windows or Macintosh will require more work but, assuming a working Gtk+ port, is not a daunting task for an experienced programmer.
